The month of April is proving to be tragic for the film industry. On April 4, the veteran actor and filmmaker Manoj Kumar passed away, while now the death of another famous actor and comedian bank Jardan has been reported within 10 days. Kannada Cinema and Television actor Bank Janardan died late Friday in a private hospital in Bengaluru. He was 77 years old.
It is said that Bank Janardan was suffering from age -related health problems for a long time. His condition was continuously deteriorating, after which his family got him admitted to Manipal Hospital in Bangalore, where he took the last breath on Friday, 11 April. His death has given a deep blow to the fans of Kannada Sinema.
Bank Janardan had done work in 500 more films
Bank Janardan, born in Bangalore in 1948, was a well-known name in the Kannada cinema industry. He was known for his strong supporting roles and excellent comic timing. In his career, he acted in more than 500 films.
Heart attack took place in 2023 two years ago
Bank Janardan suffered a heart attack on September 26, 2023 two years ago. However, the doctors gave them the right treatment in time, after which he recovered and returned to work.

Janardan started his acting career in 1985 with the film ‘Pitamah’. He was last seen on the big screen in ‘Undenama’ released in the year 2023. Some of the best characters of the veteran actor include the film ‘Shashsh!’, ‘Thurle Nan Maga’ in 1992 and ‘News’ in 2005. Kannada serial ‘Pap Pandu’ on TV gave him popularity from house to house.
