A unique view was seen on Hanuman Jayanti in Ujjain, called the city of Baba Mahakal. There was a big event in Ambapura here. A huge bhandara was held at the Jayveer Hanuman temple. In this, more than 10 thousand devotees took offerings. The event was included in the Golden Book of World Records. God was worshiped and aarti in this program held on 13 April.
All the people from social worker to common people came forward and participated in it. One person said that the event has been held for the last 20 years. This year the number of devotees was very high, so the Golden World Record’s team was called.
Devotees have been gathering since morning
On the Hanuman birth anniversary, there was a wave of devotees in the Jayveer Hanuman temple. Special worship was done in the temple since morning. This was followed by Mahaarti. Then God was offered and Bhandara started. Devotees were served food with great love in Bhandare. They were given pulses, baffles, laddus and kadhi prasad by sitting on a table-chair. The Golden Book of World Record’s team was also present there. The team’s Asia Head Dr. Manish Vishroi and Judge Vedanta Joshi gave a certificate to the organizing committee.
On the occasion of Hanuman birth anniversary on 13 April, the first worship of God was performed and Maharati was performed. According to organizer social worker Sunil Chawand, this event is being organized for the last 20 years. In view of the increasing number of devotees, a team of Golden World Records was called this year.
Bhandara running continuously for 20 years.
Bhandara began after offering bhog to God and Aarti. The devotees were served on a table-chair and served pulses of dal, baffle, laddus and link. Dr. Manish Vishroi and Judge Vedanta Joshi, the Asia Head of the World Records team, handed over the certificate to the organizing committee.
Dr. Vishroi said that the committee was given the target of providing food to 10 thousand people. But more than this, devotees were served food in a systematic manner. During this, social worker Narayan Yadav and other committee members were also present.
About 10,000 devotees attended Bhandare.
A team of 70 people cooked food
For this bhandare, a team of about 70 people had started cooking food since Sunday morning. For Bhandare, 45 quintal baffle flour, 7 quintals of tuvar dal, 5 quintal yogurt, 30 kg gram flour, 200 liters of butter, 6 quintals for laddus 6 quintals of semolina, 200 liters of milk, 25 boxes of desi ghee, 60 kg dry fruits.
More people came from the target
The committee was targeted to provide food to 10,000 people. But the committee fed more people than all the people who thought of feeding them and that too well. A team of 70 people worked very hard to make this bhandare successful. They were busy preparing food since Sunday morning. The material used in Bhandare was also very high.
Devotees also contributed
A large number of devotees together contributed to make Bhandare successful. This event takes place every year and the number of devotees in it is increasing every year. This year, the event became more special due to the name being recorded in the Golden Book of World Records.
