Hundreds of years old Dargah Sharif has been claimed to be on government land in village Janeta of Tehsil Chandausi area. A villager says that illegal recovery is done by organizing a fair at the dargah. The administration had asked for papers from Mutavalli. Mutavalli has provided documents, describing it as the property of Waqf.

Now after investigation, it will be revealed on whose land the dargah is built. The administration says that there is no confirmation of Waqf’s land in prima facie documents. Three days ago, the DM complained to Shahid Mian of illegal possession of the land of the dargah and illegal extortion through fake Mutavalli. On Thursday, Tehsildar Dhirendra Pratap Singh reached the village and informed about the dargah.

At the same time, after inspecting the occasion, asked Mutavalli to show the documents of the dargah and land. On Saturday, Mutavalli handed over the documents related to the land of the dargah to the Tehsildar. Tehsildar says that now these documents will be investigated.

The administration did not allow the fair to be held
There has been a dispute for a long time about the Janeta Dargah. A four -day fair is organized here every year. In which shopkeepers from other cities besides the district come for employment. This time there was a dispute over the fair just five days before the fair. After this, the administration did not allow the fair to be held citing Section 63. The Dargah Committee later had to postpone the fair.

First case in the district after the Waqf Act came into force
After the implementation of the Waqf Amendment Act, this episode of Janeta Dargah has become the first case of the district. Some villagers claim that the land of the dargah is government property. On this, Dr. Syed has illegally captured and made himself Mutavalli. Illegal extortion is done here every year by organizing a fair.

The villagers complained about the land of Janeta Dargah. After this, documents of land were sought from Mutavalli of Dargah, which they have made available.
