Ujjain
A unique cultural initiative of the early 2000s on Ujjain’s holy earth began as “Emperor Vikramaditya Mahamchan”. This mahanatya staging was not only a remembrance of a historical character, but was a re -recitation of an era that is considered a symbol of Indian culture, justice, and policy. The most interesting thing about this staging was that in this, Dr. Mohan Yadav himself had alive the Emperor Mahendraditya (Vikramaditya’s father).
At the time of the staging of Mahanatya, no one had thought that this young man who landed at the theater would be really revered as a leader, a cultural guardian and representative of the public like Vikramaditya of Madhya Pradesh in future. This cultural and literary love of Dr. Yadav brought him to the top of power. Even after coming to power, this trend was not limited to staging only, but he made the staging of Mahanatya a medium of social consciousness and cultural renaissance.
Vikramdhanti started from authority
When Chief Minister Dr. Yadav became the Chairman of the Ujjain Development Authority, he did not limit the development only to infrastructural construction. He saw the city of Ujjain as a city that became a confluence of history, faith and modernity in terms of Emperor Vikramaditya. On his initiative, grand entrances were built in four directions in the city, which are a symbol of four ages. This work was not only innovative in terms of architecture, but also to awaken cultural consciousness. Ujjain had the distinction of becoming the first city in the country, in which the culture was welcomed with direction-inspired entrances.
New identity to Vikram University
The next important work of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was to recognize Vikram University in the name of Emperor Vikramaditya at the national level. He not only planned to promote research and educational quality in the university, but also special efforts were also started to bring the literature, justice philosophy, and cultural values of Emperor Vikramaditya to the new generation.
Towards nationwide staging from Red Fort
Now that Dr. Yadav has become a bridge between both power and culture, he has resolved to take his old cultural campaign to a new step of upliftment. Under his leadership, the team is now ready to do the Mahamchan of Emperor Vikramaditya Mahanatya across the country. With this, this Mahanatya Red Fort based on the life and philosophy of Emperor Vikramaditya will establish a new dimension of breathful uplift by restoring national pride and cultural heritage.
“Emperor Vikramaditya” is not only the characters of history, he is an ideal man of the Indian psyche. Dr. Mohan Yadav has converted him into good governance. His campaign is not limited to Ujjain or Madhya Pradesh only, but is going to burn the flame of cultural consciousness all over India. When Vikramaditya’s saga echoed on the ramparts of the Red Fort, it will not be just a theatrical staging. This will be a celebration of Indian identity.
