The Madhya Pradesh government has announced a wildlife sanctuary in the name of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar, the constitution maker of India. An officer gave information about this. The government on Friday issued a notification about the formation of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sanctuary. The announcement has been made before the 134th birth anniversary of Ambedkar to be celebrated on 14 April.

Along with this, 25 wildlife sanctuaries have been built in the state famous for tiger sanctuaries. Chief Minister Mohan Yadav said in a statement that the construction of the new sanctuary will strengthen conservation efforts and promote forest and wildlife. He said that apart from strengthening the ecosystem, the new sanctuary will also promote tourism and this will create employment opportunities for the local people.

Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Sanctuary will be spread over North Sagar Forest Division of Sagar district, 258.64 sq km reserved forest area of ​​Tehsil Banda and Shahgarh forest. The new sanctuary was informed by contact officer KK Joshi. He informed that the formation of the sanctuary will protect and promote forest and wildlife.

This newly protected area includes Tehsil Banda of North Sagar Forest Division and reserved forest area of ​​Shahgarh. The purpose of the sanctuary is to conserve the forest and wildlife and strengthen the ecological balance. In addition, the state government hopes that this step will encourage tourism and create new employment opportunities at the local level.
