Chief Minister Sai launched e-Auto service in Nawa Raipur

Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai today launched a new environmentally friendly public transport service-E-Auto Seva-in Nawa Raipur. This service has been started in collaboration with the Nawa Raipur Atal Municipal Development Authority and Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihood Mission “Bihan”.

Chief Minister Sai said on the occasion that it is not only a transport service, but a strong effort of the state government towards promoting women’s self -reliance and entrepreneurship.

E-auto service will be operated by women self-help groups, including a total of 40 female members of 15 gram organizations of 3 clusters. This e-auto service will add prominent places like residential areas, offices, railway stations, airports and jungle safari within a radius of 130 km.

Under the ‘Lakhpati Didi Yojana’, this initiative will prove to be a major step towards self -sufficiency for 40 women. The monthly income of women will increase and they will become financially strong. This service will emerge as a model in the area of ​​local transport in the coming time, which will facilitate the convenient, affordable and pollution -free transport facility to the residents of Nawa Raipur.

On this occasion, Housing and Environment Minister O.K. P. Chaudhary, MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb, Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain, Principal Secretary to Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Chief Minister’s Secretary P. Dayanand, Secretary of Industries Department Rajat Kumar, Housing and Environment Department Secretary Ankit Anand, NRDA CEO Saurabh Kumar and many senior officials and employees were present.
