The separatist organization Hurriyat has suffered a major setback in the Kashmir Valley. The Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement has separated itself from the Hurriyat Conference. Union Home Minister Amit Shah himself gave this information through social media platform. He claimed that now 12 organizations have broken ties with separatism. Along with this, he described it as a victory for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s view of ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’.
Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday wrote on the social media platform X, “There is a sense of unity in Jammu and Kashmir under the Modi government. Another organization associated with the Hurriyat, Jammu and Kashmir Mass Movement, has expressed complete commitment to the unity of India by rejecting separatism. I welcome their move wholeheartedly.”
He further said, “So far, 12 organizations associated with Hurriyat have separated from separatism and are relying on the Constitution of India.” Amit Shah said that this is the victory of Prime Minister Modi’s dream of ‘Ek Bharat, Shrestha Bharat’. Earlier, three major organizations in the valley had broken ties with the Hurriyat conference. Giving information about this on the social media platform X, Home Minister Amit Shah wrote, “Three more organizations like Jammu and Kashmir Islamic Political Party, Jammu and Kashmir Muslim Democratic League and Kashmir Freedom Front have separated themselves from Hurriyat. Organizations have abandoned separatism and declared unwavering support for this. ”
A few days ago, Home Minister Amit Shah was on a visit to Jammu and Kashmir, where he also met the family members of martyred DSP Humayun Muzammil Bhat. Sharing a photo of the meeting, he wrote, “Humayun Muzammil Bhat, DSP of Jammu and Kashmir Police, made an immortal example of bravery and patriotism by giving supreme sacrifice in an operation against terrorists in Kokernag in 2023. He met the martyr’s family in Srinagar today and expressed his heartfelt condolences.”
