Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav said that self-help groups are a strong medium to improve the economic and social status of women. This is not only promoting women empowerment but women are also becoming financially prosperous. Self-help groups have a major role in the initiative to create a self-reliant Madhya Pradesh. The strong woman is the basis of the prosperous state.
Giving information about the efforts of women empowerment in the state, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 50% reservation is being given to the sisters of the state. Along with this, 33% reservation efforts are also being made to women in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections by 2029. Registration fee is being exempted for registration of land or house in the name of a woman. The Ladli Bahna Yojana has empowered women financially. The sisters of women self-help groups have shown their ability by doing better work in every field. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, women from all over the country are getting stronger. Today, a woman of tribal class is the President of the country.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that ladies have been worshiped in Indian culture for thousands of years. Goddess is worshiped for 9 days in Navratri. India is the only country in the world, which considers the nation as a mother. The state government is celebrating Rakshabandhan by putting Rs 1250 in the account of Ladli sisters every month. All the eligible Ladli sisters will continue to get an amount of Rs 1250. If money comes in the hands of sisters, then there will be some savings in the family. The government will leave no stone unturned to make sisters and daughters financially empowered. This is an attempt to empower family and society.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 33 crore deities reside in Gaumata. Will make every house in the state Gokul. A new Gaupalan scheme has been prepared by the state government to increase milk production in the name of Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar. In future, there can be a big change in the lives of the sisters of the state through cowsheds. The state government is working to connect them with new business. Now women of self-help groups will connect gaushalas and women of the group will prepare milk products like sweets, rabri, kalakand. Sister-daughters’ sweets shop will open, their income will increase.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that our government, committed for women empowerment, will give Rs 5000 separately to the sisters working in textile factories. The company owner will also pay 8000 rupees. Thus their monthly income will be ensured Rs 14 thousand 250. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the government is working 24 hours for the welfare of every class. The state government has launched a campaign to recruit 1 lakh government posts. In the coming few days, the state government will gift more than 4 lakh officers and employees by applying for promotion. The government will provide 2.5 lakh job opportunities in the next 5 years. Poor or rich, the government’s job is to work for the good of all. The per capita income of the citizens of Madhya Pradesh has increased. Children are being given book-copies for free education in schools. Plans are being conducted to provide bicycles, scooties and laptops for meritorious students. Every unemployed will have employment in our government. The state government is working for poor, farmers, youth and women welfare. Will leave Madhya Pradesh by making the number-1 state in the country.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari will inaugurate 4 lanes connecting Dhar with Dewas on April 10 at Badnawar, Dhar. With this, new gifts of more than 5 thousand crore rupees will be available. There will also be a gift for the inauguration of national highway projects built at a cost of 30 thousand crore rupees. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav visited the exhibition of food items made from Shri Annna in Nutrition Fortnight by members of self-help group. He praised the cuisine.
Self-help women shared their experiences
In the ceremony, village Piplia Sarpanch Mrs. Anita Lokesh Panchal shared the experiences of the Bawdi renovation work done in the water Ganga Promotion Campaign from the stage and told that the Bawdi was very dirty earlier. Sukhli Bai, a resident of village Jhadda, shared the experience of self-help group, stating that in the past the situation of his house was bad but got a loan after joining Sai Self-Help Group. He taught his children and also started a small business of himself. Now she has also learned to join the account. Children are also educated and are working in big positions.
Union Minister of State for Women and Child Development Smt. Savitri Thakur said that if the children get plenty of nutrition in childhood, they will become strong and will be able to contribute significantly in making the nation a developed nation. Dialogues and reviews about the 7th Nutrition Fortnight program running from April 8 to 22 of the Women and Child Development Department. Emphasis is being laid on 4 topics mainly in Nutrition Fortnight. These topics are focusing on the first one thousand days of life, popularizing the beneficiary modules of the nutrition tracker, management of malnutrition and healthy lifestyle to remove obesity in children.
