Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Shri Nitin Gadkari will give a ceremonial roads and fly overs ceremonial roads and fly overs in Kheda (Badnawar) in Dhar district on 10 April.

Union Minister Shri Gadkari will inaugurate the newly constructed 4 lane road on the Ujjain-Badnavar section. Along with this, 4/6 lane Greenfield Highway from Kheda Khajuria to Suhagadi of Ujjain-Garh, 4/6 lane from Suhagadi to Burdia Amra in Ujjain-Garh, 4/6 lane Greenfield High-Way, Jirapur-Surpur-Saneer-Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan border section with 2 lane roads with paved shoulder and Paved Sholder on Bakaner Ghats Will inaugurate.

The program will be founded for 4-lane road on Sandalpur-Nasrullaganj section, 2 lane road with Paved shoulder on Chanderi-Pichhor section, 7 fly overs on Indore-Gujarat section and 3 fly overs in Shajapur, Kanasia and MIDC Industrial Area, 3 fly overs, underpass and fly over work at Ralpur Junction.

The much awaited Ujjain-Badnavar four-lane highway, which is 69.100 km, is now fully prepared. The project was handed over to GR Infra Projects Limited by the National Highways Authority of India in May 2022. This high-way is a great example of modern engineering and excellent infrastructure. The project includes two railway overbridges, 4 large bridges, 7 small bridges, one interchange, 2 flyovers, 31 underpasses, 140 kalvert, 42 bus shelters/bus-ways and 4th facilities. A 23 km service road has also been built for the convenience of local residents. To facilitate traffic, 3 bypasss of 28 km and 18 km reelinement have been constructed at 5 places. With the completion of this highway, the travel time between Ujjain and Badnawar has come down from 2.5 hours to less than 1 hour.
