Raipur: Finance Minister OP Chaudhary reviewed the progress of development works of Jashpur district

Finance Minister and Minister in-charge of Jashpur district, OP Chaudhary, took a meeting of district level officers in the meeting hall of the District Panchayat today and reviewed other schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, PM Janman Yojana, MNREGA work, pending work of old roads pool-pools, animal husbandry, mobile tower problem, railway project, medical college, land identification and other schemes.

Finance Minister Chaudhary said that the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana is one of the priority schemes of the Central Government and the State Government. The needy people have to give the benefit of this scheme from primary. He said that construction of all sanctioned houses should be completed by June. He also instructed to benefit from the Earth Aba Yojana and the PM Janman Yojana to benefit the special backward tribe hill Korwa families and said that no families should be deprived of it.

On this occasion, Vice President of Surguja Tribal Development Authority and Pathalgaon MLA Smt. Gomti Sai, Jashpur MLA Smt. Rayamuni Bhagat, District Panchayat President Salik Sai, Municipality President Arvind Bhagat, District Panchayat Vice President Shaurya Pratap Singh Judeo, Municipality Vice President Yash Pratap Singh Judev, Chief Minister Secretary Rahul Bhagat, District in -charge of the district, Dr. Ravi Mittal, Collector, Secretary of the District Vyas, SSP Shashi Mohan Singh and Chief Executive Officer of Zilla Panchayat Abhishek Kumar and other public representatives and officers and employees were present.

In -charge Minister Chaudhary said that Jashpur district is the home district of the Chief Minister, here all public representatives and officers will have to work with coordination. Chaudhary said that the Janpad Panchayat CEO, officers and their staff play a big role in implementing any scheme at the ground level. He has also instructed the officers to complete the pending development and construction works quickly. He said that the climate of Jashpur is suitable for fruit-flowers, litchi, fisheries. To improve the income of farmers, they should be motivated and encouraged for its commercial farming.

Minister Chaudhary instructed to diagnose the problem of mobile tower along with electricity problem in Bagbahar of Pathalgaon development block. Instructions were also given for strict action against the people involved in illegal mining of sand.

Pathalgaon MLA Mrs. Gomti Sai and Jashpur MLA Smt. Rayamuni Bhagat, District Panchayat President Salik Sai also spoke on matters related to public concern in the meeting. Chief Minister’s Secretary Rahul Bhagat instructed the officers to ensure better implementation of all the work of health, education, road, pool-culvert, tourism development in Jashpur district. He said that the eligible people should be benefited by ensuring the participation of the public community. Under the Mukhyamantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana, the youth should be trained on the basis of market demand and connect them with employment.

In -charge Secretary Anbalgan P. Good Governance took detailed information regarding the purpose of Tihar and its implementation and instructed the officers to make the quality of applications received from the general public with full seriousness. He said that Chief Minister Vishnudev Sai himself and other ministers also suddenly observe the camp anywhere during the good governance festival and take feedback from the general public for the implementation of government schemes and programs and reach the spot and also take stock of the progress and quality of construction work. Collector Rohit Vyas gave detailed information about the development and construction works going on in the district on this occasion. He informed that the land has been identified for the medical college.
