Salman Khan’s ‘Alexander’ remains as a high shop faded dish

Mumbai

Salman Khan’s film ‘Sikander’ was released in theaters on 30 March. The film proved to be Salman’s lowest opening day number after ‘Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi John’. ‘Somebody’s brother someone’s life’ was also released on Eid. However, ‘Alexander’ earned Rs 26 crore, but due to Eid and its holiday, it saw some increase. This made some benefit to the film but from then on it slowly started declining. The film has now shocked everyone due to its disappointing numbers, which is a big thing for Salman Khan.

This type of film should have crossed the Rs 100 crore mark in the first three days, but ‘Alexander’ crossed this figure on the 8th day i.e. Sunday. According to business tracker Sacinic, ‘Alexander’ earned Rs 4 crore and Rs 4.84 crore on Saturday and Sunday. Meanwhile, now on the 9th day i.e. the second Monday, there has been a big decline in the collection. It has earned only Rs 1.75 crore. Now if seen, the total collection so far in 9 days is Rs 104.25 crore.

It is very difficult to reach 150 crores

If you look at the trend of the film in the days after Eid, according to the box office India, this ‘brother’s brother is like someone’s life’. However, the budget of ‘Alexander’ was much more than this, so this number is being considered less. Therefore, the film has not met the expectations of the people and with such numbers, it is less likely that the film will also be able to make a lifetime number of Rs 150 crore at the box office.

‘Alexander’ left behind in defeating ‘Chhava’

On the other hand, Vicky Kaushal’s ‘Chhava’ has earned Rs 500 crore at the box office, after which it was expected that a big film of Salman on Eid will make similar money but it does not seem to be happening at the moment.
