Ratanmohini was born on 25 March 1925 in an ordinary family in Sindh Hyderabad. Parents named Lakshmi. From childhood, Lakshmi pushed herself in the campaign of world peace and women empowerment at the age of 13, in the desire to attain God and to attain God. Even at the age of 101, grandmother’s routine was very disciplined. She woke up every day at 3:30 in Brahmamuhurta and used to get absorbed in Raja Yoga Sadhana. His life was a symbol of devotion, service and simplicity.

Command of training and appointment of sisters

In the year 1996, in the meeting of the National Executive of Brahmakumarij, it was decided that now daughters will be given training to become Brahmakumari. For this, a training center was built and the then chief administrator Rajyogini Dadi Prakashmani appointed you the head of the training program. Since then, the responsibility of appointment and training of sisters remained in Dadiji’s hands. So far, the foundation of 6000 service centers has been laid under the leadership of Dadi.

Command of youth division

The Golden Bharat Yuva Padyatra, organized in 2006 under the leadership of Dadiji by the Youth Division, wrote a new chapter in the history of Brahmakumaris. The journey was launched from Mumbai on 20 August 2006 and the 29 August 2006 concluded in Assam. The Golden Bharat Yuva Padayatra traveled 30 thousand kilometers across the country. Five lakh Brahmakumar brothers and sisters participated in it. The message of peace, love, unity, harmony, world fraternity, spirituality, addiction and Raja Yoga meditation was given to 125 million people.

Bharat Ekta Yuva Padyatra

Bharat Ekta Yuva Padyatra was taken out in 1985 under the leadership of Dadi. A distance of 12550 km was covered by this. The yatra was launched by the then President Giani Zail Singh. It was the longest journey from Kanyakumari to Delhi (3300 km). Even during heavy rains and storms, the steps of Rajyogi brothers and sisters did not stop and completed the mission of desert, water, forest, mountain. A grand closing ceremony was held on 24 October 1985 in Delhi. Over 70 thousand kilometers of walking trips were taken out under the direction of grandmother.

Grandma traveled 13 on foot in 1985

While the youth padyatra, taken out in the year 2006, registered the name in the Limca Book of World Records, all the passengers set a walk of 30 thousand kilometers. Grandma has traveled 13 mega walks. In August 1989, the All India Moral Jagriti Abhiyan was run together at 67 places in the country. Exhibitions, lectures, seminars and creative workshops were organized in hundreds of school-colleges, youth clubs and social service institutions in the campaign. These were attended by governors, chief ministers of many states.

doctorate degree

On February 20, 2014, Vice Chancellor ET Puttaiya and Registrar Professor Chandrakant Yatanur honored Rajyogini Dadi Ratanmohini at the 32nd convocation of Gulbarga University with an honorary doctorate. He was given this title especially for his contribution to the spiritual, moral and social empowerment of youth and women. Apart from this, Grandma has been honored per time per time with many national and international awards in the country and abroad.
