Action is going to start in Madhya Pradesh for a long time stuck police recruitment process. The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board can start the police recruitment process on about eight thousand posts at the end of this month. It includes 7,500 constables and 500 sub -inspector (SI) posts. The Police Headquarters has requested the Staff Selection Board to start the recruitment process at the earliest. Recruitment notification can be released by the end of this month and physical efficiency test can be around June-July.

No SI was recruited in MP since 2018. The process was stuck due to Kovid-19 and administrative delays. Due to this delay, many candidates have been overseed, due to which there was already pressure on the government.
Government’s big promise: 2.5 lakh jobs in 5 years
The government has announced in the Assembly that 2.5 lakh posts will be recruited in the next 5 years. Preparations are being made to fill the vacant posts in all departments. SC/ST/OBC class will be given the benefit of reservation.
