Prime Minister Narendra Modi has returned to India after a successful visit to Sri Lanka. PM Modi, who arrived in Sri Lanka after Thailand, was strongly welcomed. During this, Sri Lankan President Anura Kumar Dasnayake on Saturday gave PM Modi the country’s highest civilian honor ‘Sri Lanka Mitra Vibhushan’. PM Modi also visited Buddhist religions who have closely related to India. A rare incident took place during PM Modi’s visit. PM Modi used a highly powerful helicopter of the Indian Air Force for his visit to Anuradhapuram in Sri Lanka. This is the second time in a decade when the Indian Prime Minister used the Indian Air Force helicopter for traveling inside Sri Lanka.
It is being told that this decision was taken for PM Modi for security reasons in Sri Lanka, once a stronghold of Tamil rebel faction LTTE. Not only this, there have been many terrorist attacks inside Sri Lanka in the last few years. In view of this danger, the Indian Air Force helicopter was used for PM Modi. PM Modi inaugurated several railway projected India’s funding in Anuradhapuram. This includes Maho-Omanthi line and recently created Maho-Anuradhapuram section. Apart from this, the signal of Maho-Anuradhapuram section was also repaired.

In view of PM Modi’s visit, the Sri Lankan government had declared the Air Force Base of Anuradhapuram as an international airport on Sunday for some time so that the Indian Prime Minister could easily leave here. PM Modi arrived at this airport with his special landrower car, which was especially transported to Sri Lanka. The entire security was handed over to the SPG commandos. This powerful car can withstand all kinds of attacks.
