Governor observed Laxmikant Bezbarua’s literature in Sambalpur, paid tribute

Chhattisgarh Governor Ramen Deka today reached the residence of Laxmikant Bezberua, the famous litterateur of modern Assamese literature, during his stay in Sambalpur. Here he observed his literature and paid tribute to his contribution.

Sri Laxmikant Bezeruua was the head of Assamese literature. His literature not only serves to save the cultural heritage of Assam, but he also has an important place in Indian literature. He was one of the pioneers of the Assamese language reconstruction and his compositions are still popular among the readers.

The Governor said that the literature of Bezbarua has been a new direction to the society. His writing empowered the Assamese language and his literature became a source of inspiration for generations to come. On this occasion, the Governor recalled his literary contribution and said that his works are not only an integral part of Assam, but also the literary heritage of the whole of India.
