The Cyber Security Agency of the Government of India, Cert-in (Indian Computer Emergency Response Team) has recently issued an alert. This warning is for users who use Google Chrome on the desktop. According to CERT-in, Chrome has been found to have security flaws that can steal the data of cyber criminals users by taking advantage of which they can take advantage of, or take their system under control.
What is the real problem?
According to the CERT-in report, some important features of Google Chrome have lacked security due to incorrect coding. These include:

- Intents
- Extensions
- Navigation
- Autofill

This problem is mainly seen in the old verses of Google Chrome. According to CERT-in, all the Chrome versions older than the version below are in danger:
- Linux: 135.0.7049.52 version before
- Windows and Macos: 135.0.7049.41/42 version before
Users who are using Chrome on their personal or office computer and have not updated Chrome till now may face problems such as data theft, system crash or browser volatility.

This is how to update Google Chrome?
- Open Google Chrome in your computer.
- Click on three dots on the top right.
- Go to “Help” (help) option.
- Click on “About Google Chrome” from there.
- Now Chrome will check the update itself.
- If a new version is available, the update will automatically download.
- After the update is completed, click on “Relaunch” (resume).
