Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that development committee will be formed in all municipal corporations of the state. Doctors, engineers, city planners, professors, lecturers, teachers will all work together for the development of their city. In this budget, we have made a provision to form a development committee in cities. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing the mayors of the state. He said that the mayor is the first citizen of the city. Work with full capacity, dedication and service spirit for the development of cities and citizens. He said that the roadmap of city development will be constantly discussed for our city development to be topped in terms of development. M.P. Give priority to the works of water Ganga water enhancement campaign
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that water Ganga enrichment campaign is being run in the state from 30 March to 30 June. It is very important to save water. Therefore, all the mayor should get water conservation work done on priority under this campaign in their corporation areas and make this campaign successful with public participation. He said that efforts for industrialization are going on in the state. Municipal corporation should propose for the development of its area. Career development camps or personality improvement camps etc. should be set up to children, unknown youth. Use your mass force (support) in the development of the city. Work to strengthen the concept of the city government. Corporation should be mitted, reduce your expenses and raise revenue for development works. Do new work every year and move towards becoming self -sufficient by creating sources of income acquiring.
The President of the Mayor Union handed over the demand letter to the Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The demand letter has demanded to create protocols for the mayors, increase their financial rights, to meet the shortage of officers and employees in the municipal corporations and one security personnel to the mayors.
