The water Ganga enhancement campaign launched in the state from March 30 is now getting the support of every section of the society. Through the campaign, cleanliness and deepening work is being done with priority around the stop dams with wells, rivers, ponds, stepwells. The administrative staff is also cooperating with a shoulder in the work of public participation.
Cleanliness campaign conducted in the pool of Chhota Talab
In Chhindwara, under the direction of Collector Shri Shilendra Singh, the Jan-Abhiyan Parishad started cleaning the tank of Chhota Talab. In the work, Municipal Corporation’s cleanliness brand ambassador Mr. Vinod Tiwari, officials of various institutions and volunteers made shramdaan. Polythene and waste material were removed in the pool. During the cleaning work, citizens were pledged to keep the beautiful small pond of the city clean. District Coordinator of Jan-Abhiyan Parishad, Mr. Akhilesh Jain informed that the water Ganga enrichment campaign will continue till June 30. With the cooperation of the council, public awareness will be brought to keep water sources clean through street plays and other cultural programs across the district.
Cleanliness of water sources in Gram Panchayat Nanasa
In Dewas district, under the supervision of Collector Shri Rituraj Singh and District Panchayat CEO Shri Himanshu Prajapati, the work of cleaning the water sources has been taken up in the water Ganga Promotion Campaign. The deepening work of the pond was done in Gram Panchayat Nanasa. In the Gram Panchayat Haiderpur of Bagli development block, the deepening of river-drains is being done with public cooperation.
Message of cleanliness and water conservation by cleaning the stepwell
The workers of the Jan-Abhiyan Parishad gave the message of cleanliness and water conservation to the general public by cleaning the ancient stepwell in the Gram Panchayat Tisgaon in Dhar district. The activists raised slogans of “clean environment, gathering whole country” during Shramdaan. Awareness of conservation of water sources in rural areas has increased.

In Shahdol district, water Ganga enrichment campaign is being run till June 30 to conserve water and save water. Cleaning work in Ambah branch canal
Water Resources Employees of Morena Sabalgarh performed shramdaan for cleaning work in the water Ganga enhancement campaign on Ambah branch canal. The employees cleaned the bushes in the canal.
