‘Patanjali’ will invest in Rewa city, allotted 400 acres of land

After a long time, another major business group is going to invest in the city of Rewa of MP. Patanjali Group has been allotted about 400 acres of land in Ghurahata in Mauganj. The Patanjali Group has planned to set up integrated processing centers here. Along with food processing, other necessary resources including Ayurveda, Naturopathy Products, Skill Development Center will be developed.

Acharya Balakrishna, managing director of Patanjali Group, announced an investment of one thousand crores at the Regional Industrial Conclave held in Rewa in October last year.

During that time, he had indicated investment on the food industry, but in a meeting with officials of MP Industrial Development Corporation in Bhopal recently, he said that he will set up unified processing centers, not only a plant but on the land going to meet in Ghurahata, Mauganj. Many types of activities will be conducted there.

Team will take stock
Patanjali Integrated Processing Unit will be set up at Ghurahata on the Banaras-Nagpur route. The team is expected to visit Mauganj in the last or the first week of May. Here the corporation has also sent a demand of ₹ 26 crore along with land allocation.
