9458 pregnant women of Bhopal district of MP are at high risk. They are not getting complete nutrition. They suffer from other types of problems including anemia. This fact has been revealed in the regular review report of women and child development of the district. They are also to be delivered in the next two to five months. Here, Collector Kaushalendra Vikram Singh has asked to do regular checks of these women.

Reason for higharis
Lack of iron and folic acid: This causes weakness. They lack protein, vitamins, and minerals. Excessive weight, lifestyle with water scarcity and environmental reasons are being described as the cause of hirsis.

● Regular medical examination is being done. It is being asked to give a diet rich in protein, iron, folic acid, calcium and other essential nutrients.
● With focus on cleanliness, it is advised to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water a day. Instructions for necessary vaccination have been given on time.
