Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has thanked Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Road Transport Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari for approving 4 road projects to Madhya Pradesh. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav thanked Prime Minister Shri Modi and Union Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari and said that under his leadership the state is seeing unprecedented development in the field of road infrastructure.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that Madhya Pradesh has been given a big gift in road infrastructure and regional development by the central government. He said that these roads will provide better connectivity to different parts of the state and promote industrial and business activities.
Union Road Transport Minister Shri Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday approved 4 important road projects for Madhya Pradesh. The total cost of these projects is Rs 4302.93 crore. He has shared information about these projects approved to Madhya Pradesh on social media ‘X’.
On this extremely important decision of the Central Government, Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has expressed hope that these road projects will play an important role in making the traffic system easily and easy to speed up economic development. He said that the road infrastructure network in the country is being strengthened day by day and Madhya Pradesh is also getting its full benefit.
Road projects sanctioned by central government for Madhya Pradesh
1535.66 crore has been approved to convert 43.200 km section of Sandalpur to Nasrullaganj bypass in Bhopal district (National Highway-146B) to 4-lane. 731.36 crore has been approved to make 10.079 km of 10.079 km from Rahatgarh to Berkhedi (National Highway-146) in Vidisha and Sagar districts. Rs 688.31 crore has been sanctioned for the construction of Greenfield 4-Len Sagar Western Bypass (20.193 km) from Lahdara village to Berakhedi Guru Village Junction (National Highway-44) from Lahdara village to Berkhedi Guru Village in Sagar district. The central government has approved Rs 1347.6 crore for the construction of 28.516 km of access controlled 4-lane bypass in the western part of Gwalior city.
