Team India’s star bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been away from cricket for a long time due to injury. Because of this, he was not even seen in the Champions Trophy nor is it seen playing for Mumbai Indians in the IPL. He was expected to recover completely by the first week of April but now it is very less likely. Fans may have to wait longer to see their favorite bowler again in action. The reason for this is that Bumrah’s injury was considered as serious as before, he is actually more serious than that. The BCCI medical team does not want to appear in any haste because she would not want to increase the problems of this star bowler again after returning to the field.
Although the good news is that Bumrah has started bowling on the net but he is not throwing balls with full strength and capacity. At present, the BCCI medical team is monitoring them very carefully at the Center of Excellence. The team is not in any hasty about his return to his cricket field as it can suffer long -term losses.
If there is a hurry, Bumrah can be a victim of stress fracture. Indeed, stress factories are usually caused by continuous running, up-and-down jumping for a very minor crack in the bone. The BCCI’s medical team wants to be completely free that Bumrah is 100 percent fit and has completely recovered from injury. The media quoted a source as saying, ‘Bumrah’s injury is a bit more serious. The medical team wants to ensure that they are not victims of stress factors. Bumrah himself is also very careful. He is bowling at the Center of Excellence but with full capacity, bowling may take more time. No fixed deadline has been fixed for this, but it is expected that he can return by mid -April.
Jasprit Bumrah has not been seen playing competitive cricket since Team India’s tour of Australia last year. Cricket fans are eagerly waiting for his return. Just after the IPL, India has to play 5 Test matches against England.
