Divyangajans, including senior citizens of rural and urban areas, widows and abandoned women, will get an opportunity for pilgrimage

According to the guidelines issued by the state government for the implementation of the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana, under the scheme, widow and abandoned women have also been included in the scheme. Those who will be traveled to the selected pilgrimage place out of 19 pilgrimage places. Yatras of senior citizens, widow and abandoned women will be conducted simultaneously. Separate special trips will be conducted for the disabled. Under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yojana for Bastar district, 394 and 28 persons have been targeted to be sent on travel respectively. The said target will include selected beneficiaries, assistants and government escort and security personnel etc. Keeping this in view, according to the target of 394, a target has been set for the urban bodies and rural areas of the district for the pilgrimage journey. According to the instructions of the government, 75 percent of the beneficiaries will be selected from rural areas and 25 percent from urban areas for the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yatra. In the selection of beneficiaries for the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yatra, 80 percent of the beneficiaries BPL Antyodaya and the card holder of the Chief Minister’s Food Scheme and 20 percent of the beneficiaries will be citizens of APL families who are not income tax payers. On receiving the program of identified yatra from 19 pilgrimage sites under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan scheme, the selected persons can be sent on pilgrimage. Selection of senior citizens, widows, abandoned women and disabled should be kept in mind that the age of senior citizen is not less than 60 years of age, the age of widow and abandoned women should be less than 60 years and the age of the disabled is not less than 18 years. At present, there is no serving or retired employee in government service and should not be the income tax payer. It is mandatory for the applicant to have a doctor’s signature on the medical certificate regarding being physically and mentally capable of going on the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yatra.
Application process will be done in gram panchayats and urban bodies
Applications can be submitted to the concerned Gram Panchayat and Urban Body to benefit under the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Scheme. Along with the application form of the concerned Municipal Corporation or Nagar Panchayat area, the councilor of the concerned ward should attach a copy of the certificate, a copy of the certificate, the blood group of the applicant with the application form for the first time on the age of the applicant and the first time on the Chief Minister’s Tirthana Yatra. Unfit passengers will not be sent on pilgrimage if unfit in health tests. For this, the application of 25 percent additional eligible persons will be prepared as per the target provided by each urban body and Janpad Panchayat, which will be kept in the waiting list, in the event of selected beneficiary not going on a journey, the eligible beneficiaries can be sent on a pilgrimage from the waiting list. It is necessary to attach a copy of the certificate to be attached to the age of the applicant by the sarpanch of the concerned Gram Panchayat along with the application form of the applicant of the rural area and for the first time under the Chief Minister Tirtha Darshan Yojana. Along with the applicant’s application form, a copy of his passport photo and ration card, voter identity card or other certificate for age in which the date of birth of the applicant should be attached. Along with this, telephone number or mobile number should also be mentioned for contact and the desired information has been fully marked in the application should be tested well. A person between 21 and 50 years old with a senior citizen aged 65 years or older, who has been nominated as an assistant by the applicant, will be eligible to go. Similarly, with the disabled pilgrims, 21 to 50 years old people who are enrolled by the concerned to go on a pilgrimage journey will be compulsorily sent as an assistant. For the Chief Minister’s Tirtha Darshan Yatra, only the hearing impaired, silent-deaf, sight and bone disrupted disrupted disabled should be selected. Instructions have been given to start the necessary procedure by sending guidelines to all district panchayats and concerned urban bodies for the implementation of Mukhyamantri Tirtha Darshan Yojana.
