The anticipatory bail plea of BJP District Vice President Dr. Manu Sharma and her husband BMO Dr. Rajesh Sharma has been rejected in the case of rape and illegal abortion from a nursing student in Morena, Madhya Pradesh. On behalf of the two accused, an application for anticipatory bail was filed in the court of Special Judge Vivek Aggarwal, but the court refused to give relief to the accused in view of the seriousness of the case.
According to the information, on 23rd, at Hazira police station in Gwalior, a resident of Uttar Pradesh lodged a complaint against her friend Pushpendra and her brother -in -law. At the same time, BJP leader Dr. Manu Sharma and her husband BMO Dr. Rajesh Sharma were accused of abortion. In this case, a case is also registered against Pushpendra’s sister Reena and brother Arvind Rawat. At present, all the accused are absconding.
When pregnant got married, refused to marry
The victim is a resident of Rae Bareli in Uttar Pradesh and is studying nursing in Sabalgarh, Morena. The victim said in the complaint that she was befriended by Pushpendra Rawat, which later turned into a love affair. On 28 March 2024, Pushpendra took him to his nephew’s room in Naka, a four city, where he physically abused and made videos several times. After this, he continued to exploit him by blackmailing him. After getting pregnant, when she asked for marriage, the accused stopped talking. He then contacted Pushpendra’s brother -in -law Pan Singh for help. Paan Singh called him to Jaura and then raped her.
Threatened to fail the student
When Pushpendra’s sister Reena and brother Arvind Rawat came to know about the pregnancy of the victim, they forcibly took her to KD Hospital and miscarried her. According to the victim, BJP leader Dr. Manu Sharma and her husband Dr. Rajesh Sharma miscarried her. During this, he was also threatened for protesting. He was told that if you told anyone about this, then you will fail in the nursing examination.
