A hearing was held in the Indore High Court on Tuesday in the case of Chhappan shop of the city. Here a petition was filed to start traffic by removing the gardens and other arrangements in front of 56 shops, which has been rejected by the court after hearing. The court has said that the situation of traffic jam is made everywhere, for this the court cannot intervene on the decision taken by the Municipal Corporation in public interest.
What is the case of 56 shop traffic jam?
In fact, this petition was filed by the shop operators of the commercial complex in front of 56 shops in the Indore High Court. In the petition filed in the Indore High Court, it was said that the gardens and meeting arrangements made in front of 56 shops are hindered in traffic operations and it should be removed and started traffic. The Indore High Court dismissed the petition of the shop operator after hearing. The court said in its judgment that the traffic jam is not new to the world. If the vehicles are diverted from MG Road towards 56 shop area, then there can be a big problem.
Court will not interfere in corporation’s work
The court further said, “Vehicles are not allowed to go to 56 shops from MG Road in Vartamam. Many vehicles stop or parked on MG Road, causing jam. The municipal corporation has decided barricading at that place in conversation and public interest, it cannot be intervened.” In this case, advocate Kamal Aran advocated on behalf of Indore Municipal Corporation. He made various arguments before the court, after which the court rejected the petition filed by the merchants of the commercial complex.
