The new rate is implemented on 31 March from midnight. The state government announced to make petrol Rs 1 cheaper per liter in the new financial year 2025-26 budget. After which the price of petrol in Raipur has now increased to Rs 100.42 per liter.

On the other hand, if there is no Aadhaar link with PAN, then it will be fine. This can definitely cause problems for taxpayers. So at the same time, the state government has increased the dearness allowance of the employees by 50 percent to 53 percent. Employees will benefit from this in April.

Alcohol will be cheaper in Chhattisgarh

In Chhattisgarh, liquor will become cheaper from April 1. With this, new rates will also be applicable in more than 600 shops of the state. Now with the decision, liquor will be available to consumers at low prices. According to one information, after the new rate, now the prices of liquor will be saved from Rs 40 to Rs 3 thousand. These new rates will be applicable in Chhattisgarh from April 1. Under the government’s decision, consumers will get to save about Rs 40 on a bottle of liquor of Rs 1000.

Now know in detail the changes in Chhattisgarh

DA increased- Dearness allowance (DA) of state government employees has been increased from 50% to 53%. Which will benefit from April. That is, this money will come in the salary of March.

Petrol cheaper- The state government has cut VAT, due to this, people will get petrol in Chhattisgarh from 1 April 2025 today.

Infrastructure- The state government will spend 26 thousand 341 crore capital of its budget. That is, roads, bridges, school-colleges, hospitals will be built, these expenses will be on the convenience of common people. This work will start today (Tuesday).

The timing of schools will change- from April 2, schools will be started from 7 am to 11 am. Large classes will be held in schools running in two shifts from 8 to 3 am.

For traders- In the rule of making e-way bills, the limit has been increased from 50 thousand to 1 lakh items. Which will be applicable today from 1 April.

The outstanding amount of VAT of 40 thousand traders and less than 25 thousand of CSS has been waived.

E-office system-E-office system will be applicable in district and division offices from April 1 today. Files will run on the computer.

SMS will also reach the concerned officer to reach the concerned officer.
Alcohol cheap – In Chhattisgarh, alcohol has become cheaper from today. According to the Excise Department, alcohol will be available at low prices up to 20, 40, 150, 200 and 300 rupees in the retail wine shop. The price of liquor has also come down in the bar.

These changes will be held across the country

1. Change in income tax rules

In the new tax system from April 1, people will not have to pay any tax on income up to Rs 12 lakh.
With standard deduction of 75 thousand, this discount will be Rs 12.75 lakh.
A new slab of 25% tax was also included in the New Tax Resetam for income of 20 to 24 lakhs.
Income of more than Rs 2.4 lakh will be deducted according to the new tax slab.
The tDS exemption limit on the interest received from FD for senior citizens has been increased from ₹ 50,000 to ₹ 1 lakh.

2. The rules of minimum balance in banks will change

The minimum balance limit in savings accounts can be increased. Many banks including State Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Canara Bank have changed the terms of minimum balance.
Customers of these banks will have to maintain a minimum balance based on border urban, semi-urban and rural areas.

Penalty can be imposed if minimum balance is not kept. Which will vary according to the category of bank account.

5 thousand minimum balance will have to be maintained in urban areas and 3 thousand minimum balance in rural areas.

However, banks have not yet issued official notifications.

3. Credit card reward will be cut.

SBI and IDFC First Bank is cutting the rewards received on the use of its credit card.

Users of Air India SBI Platinum Credit Card will now get only 5 reward points instead of 15 rupees for spending every 100 rupees on Air India ticket booking.

4. Positive-pay system can be implemented

To prevent fraud in the check, customers will have to inform the bank first on issuing checks of more than Rs 50,000.

5. TDS limit limit increased

No tax on rental income up to 6 lakhs
The limit of TDS has increased from 2.4 lakh to 6 lakhs on the income from rent.
The limit of TDS has increased from 50 thousand to 1 lakh for senior citizens taking income from the interest from bank FD.

6. PAN and Aadhaar Linking compulsory

After April 1, those who will not be linked to PAN Aadhaar can have a PAN card block.
If there is no PAN and Aadhaar link, then TDS will be cut more on dividend and capital gains, and tax refund may also be delayed.
A fine will have to be paid for late linking.

7. Nishkrian UPI accounts will be closed

If your UPI account is inactive for a long time, the bank can close it.

8. Charge of withdrawing money from ATM

Now other banks’ ATMs will allow free transactions only 3 times a month. After this, charge of 20 to 25 rupees will have to be paid on every transaction.
