Raipur
Home Minister Amit Shah is going to go to Chhattisgarh again on 4 April. Earlier, he gave a big information on X. Before the visit to Dantewada in Chhattisgarh, Shah said that the government got great success in the campaign against Naxalism in the country. The number of districts affected by Naxalite violence in the country has come down from 12 to 6. By 31 March 2026, the government has set a target to end Naxalism in India. This is the most important issue in the mission of Modi 3.0. The central government’s plan seems to be effective about this. Amit Shah has clearly said that after 31 March 2026, Naxalism in the country will remain only history. To fulfill this, the action of the Sai government of Chhattisgarh is worth praise on the plan.
Will make Naxalism history- Shah
2 days ago, Amit Shah expressed happiness with the surrender of 50 Naxalites and said, ‘It is a matter of great pleasure that 50 Naxalites in Bijapur, Chhattisgarh surrendered the path of violence. I welcome those who join the mainstream of development, leaving violence and weapons. Modi ji’s policy is clear that whoever leaves the Naxalites and adopt the path of development, will be rehabilitated and connected to the mainstream. I also appeal to the rest of the people to renounce weapons and come to the mainstream. After 31 March 2026, Naxalism in the country will remain only history, this is our resolve ‘.
Now Naxalism is left in 6 districts, 29 districts free in 10 years
These districts have been submitted as the ‘most affected districts’. This is a terminology brought in 2015. Apart from this, a sub -class is in the category of ‘worrying districts’. This sub category was created in 2021. According to the previous review, the ‘most affected districts’ were 12. According to official records, there were 35 districts in 2015, 30 districts in 2018 and 25 districts in 2021. Now this figure is decreasing rapidly. It is clear that in the last 10 years, Naxalism from 29 districts has ended and now it is left in only 6 districts.
