Devotees returning from the Durga temple have been stoned at the conclusion of the procession on Chaitra Navratri in Darbhanga, Bihar. People of other communities have been accused of stone pelting. There is a tension in the area due to stone pelting on the devotees.

Since then, there is a police force deployed there. It is being told that during the stone pelting, there was a stampede situation and the female devotees started running around. Some women also fell while escaping. The incident is being reported from Pachhiyari village of Kewatgama Panchayat of Kusheshwar Station Police Station area.

It is being told that on the first day of Chaitra Navratri i.e. on Saturday, some devotees were returning to the Durga temple by establishing the Kalash and during this time stones were thrown from the roof of a house. Some media reports are said that Mohammad has been thrown stones at these devotees from the roof of Alauddin’s house.

After this entire incident, there has been a tension situation between the two communities in the village. It is being said in the media report that a video of this stone pelting has also surfaced. It is seen in the video that women and men are throwing brick and stones from a roof. At present, many people have been stoned in this stone pelting. The case is being investigated.

Here, after receiving the information of the case, the police of several other police stations including Kusheshwar place police station reached the spot in large numbers. The police somehow managed to control peace there. According to media reports, the SP of the district has said that the situation is currently under control. A large number of police forces have been deployed on the spot. It is also being said that on the occasion of Holi, there was a fight between two communities here.

Many people were also injured in this fight with sticks and sticks. The police had pacified the matter by making an agreement between the two sides. SSP of Darbhanga, Jagunath Reddy Jalaldi said that some stones were thrown at the devotees returning after installing the urn. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and pacified the matter. The situation is peaceful at the moment. The police force has been deputed there. Action is being taken by identifying the stone throwing mischievous people.
