Products are changed from time to time by Apple. Now another similar news is coming out. It is being claimed that there can be many changes in the coming time in MacBook Pro. According to the report, many necessary improvements can be made in design and hardware. According to Mark Gurman’s latest Power on Newsletter published in Bloomberg, this update will include OLED display, thin design and new M6 chip, making it one of the largest upgrade to Macbook Pro in recent years.
One of the biggest changes will be the change towards OLED display technology, which was first introduced in iPad Pro in 2024. The move will improve brightness, contrast ratio and color accuracy, which will offer better visual experience to MacBook Pro users. According to another report by Thelec, Apple will use the two-stack tandem OLED display, which will have two layers of red, green and blue pixels. This technique not only increases brightness but also prolongs the life of the display.
Another report states that the notch can be removed from the display of Apple MacBook Pro and offer a small hole-pan cutout for the front-facing camera. Whether or not this cutout will be like the dynamic island design in recent iPhone models, it is not clear yet, but this change is about to make the display more immersive and smooth.
In terms of design, Apple is planning to make MacBook Pro already diluted. However, there is not much information available on this. According to Bloomberg report, Apple initially planned to launch this new design in 2025, but due to challenges related to display technology, it was delayed. Whether or not other major changes in the design will be, it is not yet clear, but given the tradition of Apple, the company may improve a little to improve portableness and esthetics.
The 2026 MacBook Pro will come with the M6 chip of Apple, which will be the first Apple Silicon chipset to be built on the 2Nm process of TSMC. This change is expected to improve a major improvement in performance and power efficiency. This MacBook Pro will be available in 14-inch and 16-inch models, in which M6, M6 Pro and M6 Max variants will be introduced to meet various needs of professional users.
