The earthquake on Friday in many countries of South Asia including Myanmar and Thailand caused havoc. The situation has not yet become normal after this powerful 7.7 magnitude earthquake that occurred on 28 March. More than 1600 people are reported killed in Myanmar and rescue teams are constantly searching for debris. According to experts, the earthquake’s shock was as powerful as 300 atomic bombs bursting.
On Saturday, Myanmar has also had at least two earthquakes, one of which was 5.1 and the other was 4.2 of the other. The report quoted a geologist as saying that the earthquake in Myanmar led to an energy equal to 334 atomic bombs. In the report, geologist Jess Phoenix said, “The power emanating from such an earthquake is equal to about 334 atomic bombs.” Another specialist reported that the earthquake was like a blow on earth with a large knife.
People spending night on the streets

At the same time, due to the tremors coming after the earthquake, many people are spending night on the streets. According to an UN agency, people did not dare to go inside the house due to fear of damage and earthquake shocks.
Fear of over 10,000 deaths
Bloomberg has reported in its report that the death toll currently is more than 1,600. The report states that this figure may reach more than 10,000. The USGS has also stated that the estimated economic loss may be higher than Myanmar’s GDP. The report also reported that Mandalay International Airports have been temporarily closed after the damage.
