Putin accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s invitation to visit India, India will come

Russian President Vladimir Putin has accepted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to India. Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavarov gave this information on Thursday and said that preparations are going on for this tour. He said that now it is our turn. Addressing the conference titled “Russia and India: A new bilateral agenda” organized by the Russian International Affairs Council (RIAC), Lavrov said, “Putin is currently being arranged for Putin’s visit to India.”

Quoting the Russian Foreign Minister, the government news agency TASS said, “President Vladimir Putin has accepted the invitation of the head of the Government of India to visit India. The Russian nation’s visit to the Republic of India is currently being prepared.” Lavarov said that Prime Minister Modi’s first foreign trip was from Russia after being re -elected last year.

He said, “Now it’s our turn.” However, travel dates have not been revealed yet. Prime Minister Modi visited Russia in July 2024, which was his first visit to the country in about five years. Earlier, he visited the Far Eastern city Vladivostok to attend an Economic Conference in 2019. During the last visit, Modi invited Putin to come to India. On 24 March, Lavarov said Russia is developing a privileged strategic partnership with India.

Lavarov said in an event that Russia is actively expanding relations with countries such as China, India, Iran, North Korea and the Commonwealth (CIS) countries of independent states. The top Russian diplomat said, “Comprehensive partnership and strategic cooperation with the People’s Republic of China claim unprecedented -level mutual confidence. A particularly privileged strategic partnership with India is developing.”
