Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has said that all the beneficiaries of the tribal class should provide firm housing. No beneficiary should be deprived of getting housing. For any reasons, the eligible beneficiaries who were left out of getting housing should be given to all the pucca houses according to the promotion of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana or Mukhyamantri Awas Yojana. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav was addressing a review meeting of Dharti Aba tribal village Utkarsh Abhiyan at Samatwat Bhavan (Chief Minister’s residence) on Wednesday. In the meeting, he instructed all the departmental officers associated with the field and beneficiary selection under the campaign to ensure development work in targeted areas according to the fixed action plan and criteria.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that this campaign is an important initiative towards the overall development of the tribal community. Its effective implementation will expand basic facilities in rural areas. He has instructed the officials to prioritize the health, education, employment and infrastructure schemes in the campaign.
The meeting was attended by Chief Secretary Anurag Jain, Additional Chief Secretary Energy Manu Srivastava, Additional Chief Secretary Science and Technology Sanjay Dubey, Additional Chief Secretary Urja Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Mrs. Rashmi Shami, Principal Secretary Finance Manish Rastogi, Principal Secretary Tribal Work Gulshan Bamra, Secretary and Commissioner Public Relations, Dr. Sudam Khade, Commissioner Tribal Work, Shree Surman Shukla.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav reviewed the preliminary progress of the campaign so far and the development proposals sent to the Central Government in the context of the campaign. The Chief Minister insisted on making concrete strategies to speed up the development works needed in tribal villages, settlements, mazars tolls. With this campaign of the central government, the state government is making every effort to uplift the tribal communities. The government aims to reach every beneficiary’s benefits of all the schemes run for the tribal class.
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that efforts should be made at the government level to promote sustainable farming in tribal villages of the state. After testing the soil in the village, farmers should be told which crop will be more beneficial. Also seminars should be organized to encourage durable and environmentally friendly farming. He said that milch cows should be provided with government cooperation to remove malnutrition among the children of tribal families. This will improve the health of mothers and children of the tribal class. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed to complete the survey work by 31 March 2025 to bring the benefits of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to village to village in 89 development blocks with tribal population. He said that work should be dedicated to everyone with the intention of giving firm housing.
Start e-commerce facility for better marketing of traditional products
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that community buildings should be provided to people living in tribal villages for events like worship, bhajan-kirtan and meeting. Tribal culture will be rich in events happening here. He instructed to shop at the government level at the government level in the tribal village Utkarsh Abhiyan at the government level. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that special mandis should be started in the state for the sale of coarse grains so that the people of the village get a reasonable price for their crop and the network of middlemen will end. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that e-commerce facility should be started for better marketing of traditional products and food products being prepared by tribal people.
Increase the scope of exports in view of the possibilities in fisheries production
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that in order to promote fisheries, an action plan should be prepared with the participation of private sector for the provision of preparing fish seeds in the state itself. In the meeting, Principal Secretary Fishermen Welfare and Fisheries DP Ahuja informed that the department is working on schemes to provide protection to traditional fishermen. By developing hatchery in the state, selling fisheries to other states will increase employment and income. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav directed that the scope of export should be increased in view of immense possibilities in fisheries production. He also said that the state government is determined to increase the income of tribal farmers. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that people should be encouraged and benefited in places where the possibility of farming is low.
Balaghat and Mandla get priority in the establishment of nutrition garden
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed to provide better health facilities to the people of tribal villages involved in the campaign. He said that proper arrangements should be made for their treatment by identifying the victims of sickle cell anemia in tribal areas. In the meeting, officials of Public Health and Medical Education Department said that the facility of bonmero transplant of patients is being started in Jabalpur and Shahdol. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav instructed to establish nutrition garden in Balaghat and Mandla districts under the National Ayush Mission on priority.
Pay special attention to the strengths for electrical connections
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that the obstacles of electricity and water connections should be removed in remote tribal villages. He instructed the officials to fix the time limit to benefit the eligible beneficiaries from the solar pump scheme. Also, people who do not have electricity connection to such people should be benefited from the priority of solar pump scheme. Electrical connection requires special attention to Mazra-Tola. It was informed that the entire population residing in 1428 villages of 42 districts in tribal areas will get direct benefit of tap-water supply under the Water Life Mission.
Provide employment to tribal youth
Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that 92 CM Rise schools will be built in the villages involved in the tribal village Utkarsh Abhiyan. The work of 39 of these has been completed. Under the PM Jan-Man Yojana, 100 hostels have been approved at 50 places in 20 districts of the state. 50 percent of these hostels are reserved for girls. In the meeting, the official of the Department of Skill Development and Technical Education said that in order to benefit the youth from skill development and employment schemes in 89 development blocks, the work of infrastructure development is being done prominently in ITI. Under this, 34 hostels are being constructed for ITI students. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav said that employment should be given priority for youth in tribal development blocks and special care should be taken for proper management of hostels. For the development of cultural values among the students living here, Anand should be connected to institutions like Gayatri Parivar and Vidya Bharati along with the Anand Department.
In the meeting, Chief Secretary Jain instructed the Panchayat and Rural Development Officers to review 2 lakh 7 thousand 922 houses approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Gramin. He said that special care should be taken in the approved houses whether the beneficiaries of the Jan-Kalyan Parv, which lasts till 26 January, is involved. For this, a special team should be sent to the villages of 89 tribal development blocks and aspirational districts. Officials of Panchayat and Rural Development said that the first installment has been released to 96 thousand beneficiaries for the construction of housing.
