Raipur: Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu and Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw joined the first insertion of the district panchayat

Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs, Tokhan Sahu and Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw today participated in the first collection of Bilaspur District Panchayat. The newly elected president, vice president and members of the District Panchayat were sworn in at the ceremony organized in the main hospitality of Sahu and Saw. MLAs Sarvadharamlal Kaushik, Dharmajit Singh and Sushant Shukla also attended the insertion held at the late Lakhiram Aggarwal Auditorium of Bilaspur. The newly elected president of the District Panchayat, Rajesh Suryavanshi, Vice President Mrs. Lalita Santosh Kashyap and members took oath in this dignified ceremony.

Union Minister of State for Housing and Urban Affairs Tokhan Sahu congratulated all the newly elected public representatives in the program and hoped that the newly elected president, vice -president and members would work with full dedication for the overall development of the villages. He said that all of you should do according to the hopes and aspirations of the villagers. Your activeness will result in complete development of the village.

Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw said in his address that with the trust with which the people have given your blessings to you, work to fulfill the wishes and aspirations of the people. Panchayati Raj system has been made for the big objectives of village development. The Panchayat has been empowered by amending the constitution. He needs to be embodied today. Saw hoped that this new team of the District Panchayat of our Bilaspur will bring Suraj to the village.

Bilaspur Mayor Mrs. Pooja Vidhani, former MP Lakhan Lal Sahu, Collector Avnish Sharan, District Panchayat CEO Sandeep Aggarwal and Mrs. Harshita Pandey, including many public representatives and dignitaries were present in a large number of programs.
