At the same time, the Supreme Court has refused immediate hearing on the petition seeking a directing of the Delhi Police to register an FIR from the residence of Delhi High Court Judge Yashwant Verma. Official sources said a team led by Deputy Commissioner of Police (New Delhi) visited the Delhi High Court judge Yashwant Verma’s residence in connection with the investigation of the case of allegedly receiving cash from Justice Verma’s residence.
Police sources said the police team would inspect the place where the fire was on. If sources are to be believed, the investigation team of the police can interrogate the employees working in the judge’s residence. On 22 March, the CJI formed a three -member committee to conduct an internal inquiry into the allegations. Not only this, in the incident, it was decided to upload the investigation report of Chief Justice of Delhi High Court DK Upadhyay.
The investigation report included photos and videos of alleged discovery of large cash reserves. Justice Verma condemned the allegations and said that cash was never kept in the storeroom on behalf of him or any member of his family. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court has refused an immediate hearing on the petition seeking to direct Delhi Police to register an FIR in the case of alleged cash from Justice Yashwant Verma’s government residence.
Meanwhile, a three -member internal panel of judges appointed by the Supreme Court has started investigation in the case. The three judges arrived at the official residence of Justice Verma in Delhi in Delhi at around 1 pm on Tuesday. He investigated the spot deeply within the official residence of Justice Verma for about 45 minutes. Now the police has taken a new twist due to the police being active.
