The investigation into the scam in the Raipur-Visakhapatnam Bharatmala Road project has been intensified by EOW and ACB. The officials involved in the scam are ready to inquire soon. At the same time, crime will also be registered under corruption.

In the Bharatmala project, the government’s investigation revealed that compensation of Rs 43.18 crore has been incorrectly paid. In this case, action has been taken on three patwaris, including two Tehsildars, so far. Apart from this, other big officials involved in the scam have been taken under investigation.

Former SDM Nirbhay Kumar Sahu posted in Abhanpur in Raipur district is accused of incorrectly compensation. It is being told that he has incorrectly paid compensation to some landlords for the Raipur-Visakhapatnam Bharatmala Road project.

Land divided into pieces, 80 new names

Sources said that compensation is about 29.5 crores. In the village Nayakabandha and Urla of Abhanpur, the land mafia along with the revenue officials cut the land into small pieces and distributed it into 159 measles.

For compensation, 80 new names were climbed into records. Due to this, the price of 559 meters of land increased from about 29.5 crores to Rs 78 crore. In Abhanpur area, a compensation amount of 324 crore has been fixed for 9.38 km, out of which compensation of Rs 246 crore has been given. At the same time, payment of Rs 78 crore has been stopped.

Documents disturbances on last date

Officers posted in Abhanpur area went on the last date and made a mess in the documents and damaged the landowner. Village Nayak of Abhanpur and four acres of land in Urla which was with a family before the survey. That survey was distributed just a few days before the survey was distributed in the name of 14 people of the same family.

After this, compensation of Rs 70 crore was paid to the members of the same family. Investigating officers have directly mentioned this functioning of the then officers in its investigation report.

They accused of joining scam

The then subdivisional and competent officer Nirbhay Kumar Sahu, the then Tehsildar Abhanpur Shashikant Kurre, the then Naib Tehsildar Gobra Nawapara Lakeshwar Prasad Kiran, the then light Patwari Nayakabandha Jitendra Sahu, the then light Patwari Nayakabandha Dinesh Patel and the then light Patwari Nayakabandha Dinesh Patel and the then light patwari Tokaro Tokaro Devangan were found to be involved in scams.
