Establishment of new camps in Bedmakoti, great success of security forces

The ITBP (Indo-Tibetan Border Police) has set up a new camp at Bedmakoti in Abuzhmad area of ​​Narayanpur district of Chhattisgarh towards realizing the Government of India’s resolve to end Naxalism by March 2026. This camp is located about 5 km ahead of Kutul and is being seen as an important achievement of security forces.

The 41st Corps in Kondagaon, ITBP, has taken this important step under the leadership of DIG Rana Yudhveer Singh (Strategic Regional Headquarters, Bhubaneswar). Bedmakoti is a Naxal -affected area, where challenges for security forces will remain constant. Despite this, this camp will not only strengthen anti -Naxal campaigns, but will also prove helpful in providing a fear -free environment to the local residents, ITBP is continuously making its presence in the Abujhmad region, under the Naxal Abolition Mission of the Government of India.

The establishment of new camps is not only strengthening the grip of security forces, but efforts are also being made to connect the villagers with the mainstream of development. ITBP’s Himvir is not only ensuring the security of the region, but is also providing information about the welfare schemes of the Government of India and the State Government to the local people. This continuous presence has curbed the activities of the Naxalites, due to which the general public is now feeling more secure and self -sufficient than before.

DIG Rana Yudhveer Singh said that the campaign was successful due to the continuous guidance of IG OP Yadav (Central Frontier, ITBP). He congratulated the 41st Vahini fighter Narendra Singh and his icebergs on the successful establishment of the Bedmakoti camp. Along with this, he thanked Bastar Range Inspector General of Police Sundararaj P, Kanker Range DIG Amit Kamle, Narayanpur Superintendent of Police Prabhat Kumar, DRG and Chhattisgarh Police for their active support in this campaign. 53rd Vahini fighter Amit Bhati and 45th Corps fighter Rajiv Gupta were also present on the occasion.
