IPL 2025: New Delhi. Ashutosh Sharma and Vipraj Nigam, while batting amazing, gave the victory from Lucknow Supergiants to Delhi Capitals on Monday. On the basis of the stormy innings of these two, Delhi defeated Lucknow by 1 wicket in their first match of IPL-2025. In this, Vipraaj (Game Changer) became (GAME CHANGER).
Delhi needed 210 runs to win. He lost his five wickets for 65 runs. Triston Stabs fought some battle. However, he was dismissed for a total score of 113 off the third ball of the 13th over. The attacking batting by Ashutosh and Vipraj (Ashutosh) and Vipraj surprised everyone and gave Delhi a victory from where no one expected. This is the biggest win, chasing the target of runs against Lucknow in Delhi. Snatched taken away from Lucknow.
For Lucknow, Nicholas Puran played a stormy innings of 75 runs off 30 balls which included six fours and seven sixes. Apart from him, Mitchell Marsh scored 72 runs off 36 balls, hitting six fours and the same sixes. No one could do Marsh and Puran work for Delhi.
Did not get a good start
Delhi has an opening pair of Jack Freshers McGark and Faf du Plessy. Both of them are known for their stormy batting, but Shardul Thakur spoiled the entire game of Delhi. No one bought Thakur in the auction. After Mohsin Khan was injured, he came into the team and played in this match. On the third ball of the first over, he caught McGark (1) in Badoni’s hands. He scored 39 runs off 15 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes.
On the first ball of the 18th over, Bishnoi dismissed Stark and gave Delhi the eighth blow. Ashutosh once again brought Delhi into the match on the last three balls of the 18th over. In the last two overs, Delhi needed 22 runs to win. Kuldeep was run out on the third ball on the first ball of the 19th over. Ashutosh completed his half -century by taking two runs off the fourth ball. On the third ball of the last over, Ashutosh hit his team and won his team.
Lucknow storm
Earlier, Lucknow, who came to play the first innings, brought a storm at the ACA-VDCA Stadium in Visakhapatnam. The pair of Mitchell Marsh and Eden Markram gave the team a fast start.
