It has been a year since actor-director Kunal Khemu’s film ‘Madgaon Express’ was released. On this occasion, the actor shared a post on social media and told that he is ready to bring his next film to the audience, whose story is ready.
Kunal shared three posters of ‘Madgaon Express’ on Instagram, on which it was written, “Birthday Mubarak Ho’ Madgaon Express’ … It has been a year, so more story should be narrated. I have completed the story of the next film. Soon I will give more information about it. I will give more information about all the people who are part of Madgaon ‘Express.”
Kunal received the Best Debut Director Award for ‘Madgaon Express’ in the 25th season of IIFA. The actor had described him as a result of faith and enthusiasm. By sharing the post on social media, the actor wrote, “IIFA! I am still debuting. Thank you very much for IIFA for the best direction made for Madgaon Express. This award is for all those who believed in me and encouraged me. Thank you all for giving so much love to the film.”
Thanking the team, he further wrote, “Thank you the whole team for trusting me and supporting my vision. Thank you every artist of the film.
Khemu thanked his family for becoming a cheerleader and support system. Along with this, he thanked all the creators on social media and YouTube for appreciating the film. Khemu also thanked the media for covering the film and giving it love and appreciation.
‘Madgaon Express’ was released in the year 2024. The story of the film is based on childhood friends Dodo, Ayush and Pinku, who prepare to go to Goa after a long wait. Something happens to them, from which the whole journey takes a strange turn.
Along with writing the story of dark-comedy, it is also directed by Kunal Khemu. The film stars Divyendu, Prateek Gandhi, Avinash Tiwari, Nora Fatehi, Upendra Limaye and Chhaya Kadam in important roles.
