Police station Amanaka police arrested an accused near Tatibandh Chhath Talab along with a banned drug heroin (chitta). The police recovered 06.92 grams of heroin, a motorcycle and a mobile phone from the accused, which has been estimated at around Rs 1.29 lakh.
The police had received secret information that the accused Umesh Yadu alias Golu (36 years), resident of Hirapur, Thana Kabir Nagar, Raipur, Tatibandh Hirapur Chhath Pond is trying to sell drugs. On the information, a team was formed under the leadership of Police Incharge Amanaka as per the instructions of Deputy Inspector General of Police and Senior Superintendent of Police Dr. Lal Umed Singh.
The joint team, in a planned manner, raided the area and identified and caught the person of the Halley mentioned by the informer. During interrogation, the accused named his name Umesh Yadu alias Golu. When the police searched him, 06.92 grams of heroin (chitta) was recovered from him.
