The state government has declared the Naxal Self -Surprise Policy 2025 to make Chhattisgarh as Naxal -free by March 2026. Naxalites who surrender will be given an amount of up to five lakhs for land and housing as well as automatic weapons. An amount of 50-50 thousand will be given to the Naxalites who surrendered for motivating them to surrender to the relatives of Naxalites. 10 percent of the prize money declared against the Naxalites or a maximum of five lakh rupees will be distributed to the police and security personnel helping to surrender. This amount will double on the collective surrender of more than 60% of the Naxalite organization. On the surrender of all the Naxalite members of the Gram Panchayat area, the area will be declared as Naxal-free and will approve the development works worth four crore rupees.
Under the ‘Elvad Panchayat Abhiyan’, gram panchayats and rural Naxalites will help in surrender. They also have an incentive. Special proceeds have also been made for the education of children of Naxalites in the policy. Their benefit will also be given to the surrendered Naxalites of local and other states. The government believes that the violence should not be high and the wandering Naxalites should be connected to the mainstream of society.
This incentive to eliminate Naxalism
15,000 rupees, 10 kg for recovery of IED of five kilograms or more. Or 25,000 rupees will be given on more. ₹ one lakh will be available on the recovery of large dump (arms manufacturing unit, explosives, etc.). Unmarried, widow or widow Naxalites will be given one lakh rupees for marriage within three years. Naxalites of five lakh rupees or more will get 1742 sqft land in urban area or one hectare agricultural land or ₹ two lakhs in rural areas.
