Seven -day huge book fair from today, additional discount will be available

According to the intention of Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to provide books, dress and stationery to school children, the seven -day book fair (Book Fair) will start at 2 pm today at Dastakari Haat Bazaar (Shilp Bazaar) located in the fair campus. The formal inauguration of this book fair being organized on the initiative of the district administration will be in the presence of Assembly Speaker Shri Narendra Singh Tomar, Horticulture and Food Processing Minister Shri Narayan Singh Kushwaha and MP Shri Bharat Singh Kushwaha and other senior public representatives. Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan has appealed to parents and school students to avail the book fair.

Book vendors (Gwalior Division Children Book Seller Association) have decided to give additional discounts in addition to all types of discounts (discounts) on buying books, dress and stationery from the book fair. Traders have welcomed the decision by the district administration to set up a book fair. Also, it is said that in addition to all types of discounts, students and parents will be given 5 percent on the purchase of books, 10 percent on stations and 5 percent on the purchase of uniform and other materials.

In this book fair to be held from 22 March to 29 March in the craft market campus, the sets, stationery and uniforms of all private schools operated in Gwalior district will be purchased at a cheaper rate. The fair will have 81 shops of books and stations etc.

Collector Mrs. Chauhan took stock of the preparations for the fair
Collector Smt. Ruchika Chauhan reached the craft market on Friday and took stock of the preparations for the book fair. Also, before taking a meeting of the officers, necessary guidelines were given for the well-organized event of the book fair. He said that a strong arrangement of drinking water, toilets and primary health services should be made in the book fair. Also, paid food stalls should be set up. He also laid special emphasis on keeping strong arrangements for fire security and electricity safety in the book fair premises. Collector Smt. Chauhan also instructed that special arrangements should be made for cleanliness in the book fair premises. Keep dustbins everywhere, so that garbage is not spread in the fair. He also gave instructions to clean regular cleaning of the book fair complex in the morning and evening. The Collector laid special emphasis on keeping road traffic organized and taking care of safer traffic of children. On this occasion, Chief Executive Officer of District Panchayat Mr. Vivek Kumar, Additional Collector Shri Kumar Satyam and Mr. TN Singh and other concerned officers were present.
