Commissioner Shahdol Division Mrs. Surabhi Gupta instructed the officers to fast the work of the Water Life Mission operated in Shahdol division.
The commissioner has directed the officials and said that water life mission is an important mission of governance, people should get the benefit of this mission. While directing the officials, he has said that keeping in view the summer, the system of drinking water should be ensured in the rural and urban areas of Shahdol division. Commissioner Shahdol Division Mrs. Surabhi Gupta was directing the officials at the division level review meeting of the work of Jal Jeevan Mission today.
While reviewing the progress of the work of Jal Jeevan Mission in the meeting, the commissioner expressed displeasure over the lack of expected progress in the work of single village Nal Jal Yojana under the Water Jeevan Mission and instructed to fulfill the work of single village tap water scheme fast. The commissioner also instructed the officials to ensure that the material was available for the repair of the hand pumps and the necessary improvements in the hand pumps, keeping the summer period. In the meeting, other works of water life mission were also reviewed and gave necessary guidelines to the officers. Chief Executive Officer Anuppur, Chief Executive Officer Umaria, Additional Chief Executive Officer District Panchayat Shahdol, General Manager Jaljivan Mission Shahdol and other officers were present in the meeting.
