This will irrigate 27 thousand 490 hectares of two tehsils of Ujjain district and 27 thousand 490 hectares of 83 villages of Ghatia and 2728 hectares of 17 villages of Shajapur tehsil of Shajapur district. The total command area of the project is 30 thousand 218 hectares. The total length of the main pipe line of the project is 200 km. A total of 50 pump motors sets have been set up in 06 pumping stations for water blows. A total of 89 MW of electricity will be required for watering water. In the project, a total of 2254 kilometers (from 03 meter diameter to diameter) from 2.5 hectares of chak for the distribution system is laid. One OMS per 20 hectares in the project Box means a total of 1539 boxes have been installed. The entire operation of the project will be done through Skada and water will be provided with 20 meters of pressure up to 2.5 hectare chak. Farmers will be able to avail more irrigation than less water through Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Drop-Mor-Crop’ involvement as per the intake of pressure.
