Union Home Minister Amit Shah has termed the killing of 22 Naxalites by security forces in Chhattisgarh as a ‘big success’. Along with this, he has also given the date of the next big operation in gestures. Security forces killed 18 Naxalites and four Naxalites in Kanker district in an encounter between security forces and Naxalites in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. A jawan also lost his life in these incidents.
Shah said in a post on ‘X’, our soldiers have achieved another major success in the direction of ‘Naxal -free India campaign’. 22 Naxalites were killed in 2 different operations of our security forces in Bijapur and Kanker in Chhattisgarh.
He said, ‘The Modi government is moving ahead of the Naxalites without any mercy and despite all the facilities of dedication to the inclusion, the Naxalites are not surrendering, are adopting a policy of zero tolerance against them. The country is going to be Naxal-free before 31 March next year.

18 Naxalites stunned in Bijapur
Chhattisgarh Deputy CM and Home Minister Vijay Sharma said that there is Gangalur area between Bijapur and Dantewada, where firing was taking place at 7 am. A total of 18 Naxalites have been killed in this encounter. Also, DRG jawan Raju OM has been martyred. The entire government is standing with the martyr family. He has made supreme sacrifice to serve Chhattisgarh Mahtari. We wish the soldiers. This is the strength of their arms. Four Naxalites have also been killed in Kanker.

Vijay Sharma said that this is a big success. Now the bus is running from Bijapur to Bamed. Earlier we had to go via Telangana. Now the entire Bastar is changing. In the coming time, the entire Bastar will be free from red terror. Later, you can also sit comfortably on the banks of the Indravati river and drink tea.
Significantly, after the encounter, the soldiers have recovered the bodies and weapons of the Naxalites. In Chhattisgarh, the soldiers are continuously working to end the red terror. At the same time, Naxalites continue to attack. A target has been set to end Naxalism by 31 March 2026.
Operation in Chhattisgarh
Officials said that on Thursday morning, the team of security forces had gone on a Naxalite protest operation in the police station Gangalur area in the border of Bijapur and Dantewada. Meanwhile, there was an encounter between security forces and Naxalites. The team killed 22 Naxalites in two separate operations. The security force team killed 18 in Bijapur and four Naxalites in Kanker.
In this encounter, Raju Oyami, a soldier of Bijapur DRG, was martyred. Home Minister Vijay Sharma has confirmed the recovery of the bodies of 18 Naxalites, while the information about the body being received from other areas has not yet been received officially.
