The Andhra Pradesh government had filed a case against Pushpa Movie’s star Allu Arjun recently. The case was registered after a stampede during a special screening of Pushpa film. Now Congress’s Revanth Reddy Sarkar and South Cinema stars are again face to face. This time a case has been registered against a total of 25 stars for promoting the online betting app. These stars include Rana Daggubati, Prakash Raj, Vijay Devarakonda and Manchu Lakshmi. The case has been registered after a complaint by businessman Phanindra Sharma. The FIR registered by the police includes Nidhi Aggarwal, Paranita, Ananya Nagalla, Hanumant, Shrimukhi, Sunny Yadav, Harsha Sai and Vishnu Priya etc.
The FIR states that the online speculative app has been promoted through social media adds. For this, the help of celebrities and influencers has been taken. The FIR reads, ‘The game of crores of rupees has been done through these illegal platforms. Many of its families are caught in financial crisis. These include people from lower middle class. The complainant says that this Sattabaji app has been used by people on a large scale and lost his hard earned money. Sharma says that he too was stalled to play betting, but after warning the family, he lacked back.
‘Celebrities promoted the speculative app by taking a thick package’
The complainant said that such an app is being promoted by celebrities with thick payment. This affects people and they get stuck in betting addiction. Especially such people get caught in these troubles, who need money. But in the process of playing speculative through these apps, the money already deposited with him also drowned. The FIR states that people were motivated to play betting through these platforms. These people gradually become etc. and often submerge their money. In this case, the police have registered a case on charges of fraud and under the sections of IT Act. This case can cause a stir in Telugu cinema once again. Allu Arjun’s arrest was also an issue and he was discussed across the country.
