A horrific road accident occurred last night in Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh, in which 3 people died, while 6 people were injured. The accident occurred on the route from Suramaal to Temri in Komakhan police station area, when a container and eco-car collided face to face. The collision was so strong that the Eco car flew away.
According to the information received, this painful accident occurred when the Eco car (CG 04 PJ 1696) was coming from Temari to Bagbahara and the container (MH 40 AK 2648) was going from Bagbahara towards Odisha. During this time, suddenly both vehicles collided face to face, due to which the people in the car were seriously injured.
The Sahu family, a resident of Khopali Padao in the Eco car, was riding, who was returning after attending a wedding ceremony. Johan Sahu (60 years) and Khushi Sahu (1.5 years), who were riding in the car in the accident, died on the spot, while Poonam Sahu, who was driving the car, died in Mahasamund Hospital during treatment. Six people have been injured in the accident. In which two children have been referred to Raipur in critical condition. At the same time, four other injured are being treated at Bagbahara and Mahasamund Hospital.
As soon as the information of the incident was received, Komakhan police reached the spot and started relief and rescue work. The police made the traffic smooth by removing the vehicles and is investigating the case.
