PSL rejected the player to play IPL 2025 and PCB Board got chili

The 18th season of the Indian Premier League starts from March 22. Earlier, all franchises have started preparations. South African all -rounder Corbin Bosch has been included in his squad as a replacement for IPL 2025. He replaced the injured Lizad Williams. In such a situation, Bosch left the Pakistan Super League. Now Pakistan Cricket Board has sent a legal notice to Bosch. The PCB has sent a legal notice alleging violating the contract related obligations to the Corbin Bosch.

PSL overlap with IPL

This is the first season in which PSL will overlap with IPL. The IPL will run from 22 March to 25 May and PSL will run from 11 April to 18 May. In the PSL draft held in January, Peshawar Jalmi selected Bosch in the Diamond category. But on March 8, the Mumbai Indians announced that he would replace the injured Lizad Williams in his team.

Legal notice to Corbin Bosch

The Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement, “The legal notice was given through his agent and the player has been asked to justify his move to his professional and constructive commitments.

Was changed To psl window

PSL can take action on franchise bosch. They are worried that this may set an example for players to sign up with PSL and then go to IPL. The PCB replaced the PSL window with the aim of improving the quality and availability of foreign players. When PSL was in February-March window, the players were busy in the SA20, LT20 and BPL.

When the window was changed last year, it was decided that PSL draft would be held after the IPL oxation. This can lead to more clarity about the availability of foreign players. The IPL auction was held this season in November 2024 and the PSL draft in January 2025. The PSL draft included David Warner, Deril Mitchell, Jason Holder, Rasi Van Der Dusen and Kane Williamson.
