The life of Mae Spitman, a Cassandra, a German’s young musician, changed at a time when the Prime Minister (PM) Narendra Modi (Modi) mentioned him in his famous radio program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ (Spoke). Casendra is affectionately known as ‘Casey’. His mention in Mann Ki Baat established Kaasey as a star in India.
Cames are unable to see from birth. She hails from Duceburg, Germany and is getting praise around the world with her talent in Indian music and languages at the age of 21. She sings in more than 12 Indian languages including Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and connects Indian music to her pop songs. In 2017, during his studies at Berkali College, America, he discovered Indian music for the first time, and since then his passion continued to grow.
A video of Casey has been shared from the official X handle of the Mann Ki Baat program in which she explains how it changed her life. She says, “I heard that Narendra Modi is referring to me in his mind. He further said, “From India to Germany, many media people were giving 10-20 interviews in each day.”
Casey told that last year he received a call from the PM office, Prime Minister Modi wants to meet you. He said, “When I met him, he was very comfortable with me.
I can’t believe it. I am very happy. I love India very much. ” Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised the talent of Casey and his dedication to Indian music in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ episode, after which his popularity in India made him a celebrity among the Indian audience.
This change in Casey’s life was not limited to popularity only. She is now performing in Indian music festivals and yoga retreats, and has become part of the tabla group of the Academy of Colon. His music style features a mixture of Indian fusion, modern house, R&B and Afro Beats, which gives him a unique identity in modern pop music. In addition, he also wrote and presented an inclusion song for the German Parliament, raising issues such as personal self -determination, inclusion and diversity.
Casey says, “Indian culture and music are more than a passion for me. His story is not only a great example of cultural exchange, but also shows how music and art can break and connect people.
