Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandavia has nominated Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana as the official ‘Fit India Icon’. Ayushmann has now become part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Fit India Movement, which aims to make fitness an integral part of lifestyle and to prioritize physical health.
Ayushmann Khurrana was formally declared ‘Fit Icon’ at the opening ceremony of the Fit India Movement held in Delhi on Sunday, where he was honored by the Union Minister. Bollywood star Ayushmann Khurrana has resolved that he will inspire millions of people of the country to adopt fitness.
Their aim is to give priority to their health and health. Ayushman Khurana said, when your health is good, all the challenges of life seem to be personal or professional. But when health deteriorates, it becomes the biggest challenge.
Good health enables us to do anything. A healthy person is confident and strong, no matter how uncertain the world. Health is everything. A healthy nation is a rich nation. When we are healthy, we are more productive, more rich and contribute to nation-building.

I also thank Union Sports Minister Dr. Mansukh Bhai, who has made unique efforts to carry forward this national movement. I am proud to get the honor of becoming a ‘Fit India icon’.
