Promotion of digital payment, several cash counters closed in reservation center and unreserved ticket center

Raipur

Officials of South East Central Railway Zone have launched a campaign to promote digital payment by closing several cash counters at the reservation center and unreserved ticket center. As a result, the ticket counters are getting long and the passengers are getting upset who have no option for digital payment. After standing in the long line of the unreserved ticket counter of Raipur railway station, when you arrive at the counter, you will know that the said counter is only for digital payment, after that you will have to put again in the line where tickets will be available in cash. It is possible that in such a situation, either passengers will be forced to travel in the train without tickets or passengers will be missed in the ticket.

Many ticket counters were closed

Due to the increase in the number of passengers going home from Holi, there was a long line of passengers in unreserved ticket counters on Monday. Passengers got waiting for more than half an hour to get tickets, in such a situation the railway remained closed for many ticket counters. Here the ticket counter number 6, 7, 8 and 3 and 2 numbers were found closed. That is, a total of 5 ticket counters are closed in Raipur railway station.

Apart from this, ticket counter number 5 was found open for passengers taking tickets only through digital payment, counter number 4 got both cash and online payment mode. At the same time, the number 1 counter is reserving only for women, but they were being given tickets only in online payment here too.

This means that passengers have tickets available in cash in only one ticket counter, although 2 ATVM machines were also started here where passengers can take tickets.

Reservation center is also in the same condition, passengers are getting upset to take Tatkal tickets

Passengers going to take tickets at the reservation center have the same condition. Cash transactions have been stopped in many counters here too. The most damage is being done to those passengers who are reaching the reservation center to get Tatkal tickets. Because digital payment process takes 30 to 50 seconds. In such a situation, only the passengers standing at number 1-2 get tickets and the tickets are finished till the reach of 3. Apart from this, passengers are also getting upset here, who have only cash.

Cash closed in Raipur Parcel Office

Now if you have to go to the parcel office for booking, then your goods will not be booked here by keeping cash in the pocket. Because the cash transaction in the cash counter here has been completely closed. That is, despite your pass cash, your parcel will not be booked here or you will have to contact the brokers to book your parcel.
